There are many reasons to capture the image of a person, whether it be through inspiration, commission, or voyeurism.  Each drawing and painting beg to immortalize every memory through my unique perspective.  All things fade to antiquity in time, but a portrait will keep us curious to the unknown personalities and indistinct interactions happening around us, even the times we think no one is watching.  I take a leap into unknown cities, countries, and groups of people with the same enthusiasm as I would at home with my closest friends and family. My work is an homage to a time of a naturalist observations of our surroundings.  These works of art are the field studies of my journey.
